What to expect during your first visit

Your first visit will last about 45-60 minutes. During this time you and Dr Aberdour will discuss your health concerns, your health history and answer general questions that you may have about naturopathic medicine and the treatments available to you. A physical exam is also usually part of the initial visit as well as recommendations for blood tests and/or other testing that will help to gather information that will be helpful in selecting the best treatment recommendations for you.

A follow up visit of 30-45 minutes will generally be scheduled within 1-2 weeks of your initial visit. During this visit, you and Dr Aberdour will discuss the results of any testing that has been performed, review your current diet and discuss which naturopathic recommendations are most appropriate for addressing your particular health concerns.

The frequency and number of additional follow up visits will be based on your particular treatment and monitoring requirements. The overall goal is to help reduce your symptoms, improve your wellbeing and maintain overall health by providing only as much naturopathic intervention and support as your body requires.
